Join Our Sci-Fi Thinking Workshop For World-leading Energy Branding Event

The world-famous CHARGE Energy Branding conference (September 28-29) is going virtual this year, and KIRT x THOMSEN is excited to be a major sponsor.

Speaker Rune Kirt, chief executive officer at KIRT x THOMSEN, will also be leading a pioneering new virtual workshop for attendees at this year's conference.

It is a great feeling to design an online creative space where we will all be able to engage with 4 alternative energy futures. Science fiction will be our exploration tool, since it has a lot to do with research and planning for a better future… as well as preventing from the dystopian one. - says Rune Kirt.

Scenario 1. How energy business would look like in a centralized, society-driven world?

“We’re convinced that attendees will gain a lot from the KIRT x THOMSEN workshop as Rune has been one of our best and most innovative speakers for some time!” says Kerr Jeferies, conference producer at CHARGE Energy Branding, the team behind the event.

Titled, Sci-fi thinking in business - turning dreams to realities, the workshop will showcase how to create and harness creativity to build and support brands.

Significant takeaways for attendees within the 45min workshop, hosted from 10.30 am GMT on September 29th include:

  • Discover the core concepts and best practices of lean, explorative or experimental methodologies and understand how they create flexibility and efficiencies for R&D teams

  • Gain valuable insights on how energy companies can tailor storytelling and create compelling communication campaigns for all stakeholders by embracing a wide range of visual tools and aids

  • Evaluate the benefits of using R&D methodologies to build businesses, projects and positive customer relationships at speed

  • Understand how R&D innovators manage risk to ensure that a playful attitude to creativity doesn't negatively impact your budget and instead reinforces your business

The KIRT x THOMSEN workshop is just one of many that attendees of CHARGE Virtual 2020 can tune in to watch.

"After four years hosting a highly successful energy branding event in Iceland, we're excited by the opportunity to expand our message by hosting the event virtually this year," Kerr Jeferies continued.

Only last week, EDP Comercial chief executive officer Vera Pinto Pereira joined a panel alongside c-level representatives from Ontario Power Generation, Xcel Energy, Edison Electric Institute. They will tackle how energy brands can influence, catalyze and promote action, not just words, in the face of climate change, racial prejudice, poverty and more.

Further, other speakers from OVO Energy, E.ON, Enel, Direct Energy, Alperia, Spark Energy, Pulse Power and more will discuss at length the role for branding in finally delivering the sustainable energy transition.
